The 16th All India Police Commando Competition (AIPCC) has officially started at the National Security Guard (NSG) garrison in Manesar, Haryana. Running from February 16 to February 28, 2026, this event brings together the best tactical units from across the country. The competition was inaugurated by NSG Director General B. Around 800 elite commandos representing 24 teams are part of this professional gathering. These teams include various state police forces, Central Armed Police Forces like BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, and SSB, as well as the host NSG. This event is organized under the All India Police Sports Control Board to improve coordination between different security agencies.
- Sniper Competition: Testing long-range shooting and accuracy.
- Cheetah Run: A high-intensity drill involving obstacles and 10 kg weight followed by reflex firing.
- Operational Drills: Practice sessions for hostage rescue, anti-terrorism, and urban warfare.
- Weapon Exhibition: Display of latest security equipment and modern firearms.
Key Details of the Competition
The competition follows strict rules to ensure transparency, with an independent jury managing the evaluations. While the commandos compete in tactical modules, the opening ceremony featured live demonstrations of anti-hijacking and VIP security techniques by the Black Cat commandos. This event is strictly for professional security personnel and does not have any public entry fee.
