delhibreakings noida parthala roundabout redesign tender issued 2026 Parthala Roundabout Design to Change, Noida Authority Issues Tender to End Traffic Jams

The Noida Authority has moved forward with its plan to fix the daily traffic jams at the Parthala Roundabout on Master Plan Road No. 3. Tenders were issued recently for remodeling the circle and fixing the roads around it. Agencies interested in the project have until February 19, 2026, to submit their bids. This decision follows a detailed survey done by the traffic police and engineering officials to spot exactly where the problems are.

Major Changes Planned for Traffic Flow

The engineering team has decided to make the central roundabout smaller. This will give more space for vehicles on the road. A key part of this project is building a new U-turn for people driving from Sector 71 who want to go to Sector 122. Right now, many drivers go on the wrong side to make this turn, which is very dangerous and causes delays.

Another U-turn is planned on the road coming from Greater Noida West or Kisan Chowk towards Chhijarsi. This will help manage the heavy volume of cars. Also, the temporary cuts that confuse drivers right now will be closed permanently with strong concrete barriers to streamline the movement.

Timeline and New Rules

If the tender process goes as planned, the actual construction work on the ground is expected to start by the end of March 2026. The road near the new U-turns will also be widened to stop bottlenecks and ensure smooth driving for commuters.

Once the work is finished, new traffic rules will apply. The Traffic Police will not allow any right turns at the roundabout level. Everyone will have to use the new U-turns. Currently, temporary barriers are placed at the Sorkha cut to manage the flow until permanent changes are made.
