Commuters travelling through the Rohini area in New Delhi should get ready for some changes in their daily route. The traffic police have issued an advisory regarding special traffic arrangements due to construction work. The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is starting the work of laying a sewer line at Nala Road. This work will continue for about a month, starting from February 9, 2026, to March 11, 2026.
Which Roads Will Be Affected?
According to the official update, the construction work is focused on Nala Road along the I&FC drain. Specifically, the stretch between Bhagwan Mahavir Marg and Dwarkadeesh Chowk in Rohini will see restrictions. Because of this major work, traffic movement is likely to be slow or restricted on K.N.K. Marg and the parts of Bhagwan Mahavir Marg that connect to Nala Road.
Alternate Routes for Commuters
To avoid getting stuck in jams, authorities have suggested some alternate ways. Drivers can take Bahadur Shah Marg via Pansali Chowk and move towards Bawana Road, passing Mahadev Chowk and St. Xavier School to reach KNK Marg. You can also use the same route in the reverse direction. Additionally, using the internal sector roads of Rohini is advised wherever possible to bypass the main construction area.
