The Delhi government has officially appointed former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan as the brand ambassador for the inaugural Delhi Khel Mahakumbh. To encourage young talent from all 12 districts, the government has announced significant cash prizes for winners. Sports Minister Ashish Sood also highlighted that the sports budget has been tripled to 76 crore rupees for this fiscal year. The prize breakdown for the winners is as follows:
