Laxmi Nagar Fire Station Officer R.S. Baghel stated that they received information about the crash near the MCD toll. By the time the fire team arrived, locals had already sent three people, including the driver and two children, to the hospital. The fire team then used tools to cut through the wreckage and rescued two passengers trapped inside. All five occupants of the car have been hospitalized.

The accident caused a significant traffic jam on the expressway. Police used cranes to remove the damaged car and the truck to clear the route for other vehicles.
