According to the complaint filed by the woman, the incident began about two years ago when Shahrukh invited her to a location and offered her a drink laced with sedatives. After she lost consciousness, he raped her and recorded the act. The victim alleges that Shahrukh used these videos to blackmail her repeatedly over the last two years.

Over time, the accused extorted a total of Rs 6.25 lakh from the woman by threatening to leak the videos on the internet. The victim also reported that Shahrukh was pressuring her to convert to Islam and marry him. He reportedly used his criminal background to intimidate her, threatening harm to her family if she did not comply with his demands.

Following the formal complaint, the Ghaziabad Police have registered an FIR at the Masuri Police Station. The case includes charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for rape, extortion, and criminal intimidation. The police have also invoked the UP Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act, 2021, given the allegations of forced conversion.

Senior officials confirmed that multiple teams have been formed to catch Shahrukh, who is currently on the run.
