During this operation, the authority team successfully freed approximately 30,000 square meters of notified land from illegal occupation. Details of the Anti-Encroachment Drive in Bhannauta
The operation was executed by the Work Circle-2 team, supported by local police and authority security personnel to maintain law and order. The demolition focused on illegal boundary walls and structures built by colonizers on Khasra numbers 238 and 239. It was discovered that colonizers were misleading the public by claiming the land belonged to unauthorized khasra numbers to facilitate illegal sales. Out of the total land cleared, 8,000 square meters had already been legally acquired and possessed by the authority after compensation was distributed to farmers.
