The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has introduced special priority measures for students appearing in the CBSE Board Examinations 2026 to ensure hassle-free travel. These arrangements are being implemented in coordination with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) across the network. The initiative aims to help thousands of students reach their examination centers without getting delayed in morning rush hour queues.

Special Facilities for Students at Metro Stations
Students carrying a valid CBSE Admit Card will be given priority access during security checks at all metro stations. This means they can skip long lines at frisking points to save time. Furthermore, priority access is also available at Ticket Office Machines (TOM) and Customer Care centers for purchasing tickets or fixing smart card issues immediately. DMRC officials stated that these steps are taken to handle the increased footfall and reduce stress for examinees during this crucial period.
Important Dates and Timing Details
The board examinations are scheduled from February 17 to April 10, 2026. Since exams typically begin at 10:30 AM, students are advised to reach their centers by 10:00 AM.
