The incident took place on February 27 in the Badalpur police station area. The driver attempted to flee without paying for fuel and hit the employee when he tried to stop the car. The police have taken the accused into custody and seized the vehicle involved in the crime.
How did the incident unfold at the petrol pump?
According to the police investigation, the accused arrived at the petrol pump in his Mahindra Thar to get fuel. After filling the tank, he immediately tried to drive away without making the payment. The salesman, identified as Kuldeep Sharma, noticed this and chased the vehicle on his motorcycle to recover the pending money.
Instead of stopping to pay, the Thar driver intentionally hit Kuldeep’s bike during the chase. The impact caused the salesman to fall off his motorcycle and sustain injuries. Local authorities were alerted immediately following this reckless act on the road.
