Oil marketing companies have announced a price hike for commercial LPG cylinders starting today, March 1, 2026. Business owners running hotels, restaurants, and catering services in Delhi will now have to pay more for their fuel. The price of the 19 kg commercial cylinder has been increased by Rs 28. This decision comes after the monthly review of international crude oil prices and foreign exchange rates.

New Prices in Top Cities

With this latest revision, the price of a 19 kg commercial cylinder in Delhi has reached Rs 1,768.50. Previously, it was sold at Rs 1,740.50. The hike is not limited to the capital; other metro cities have also seen a similar increase. In Kolkata, the price went up by Rs 31, while Mumbai saw an increase of Rs 28.

Here is the list of new prices applicable from today:

  • Delhi: Rs 1,768.50 (Increased by Rs 28)
  • Mumbai: Rs 1,720 (Increased by Rs 28)
  • Kolkata: Rs 1,875.50 (Increased by Rs 31)
  • Chennai: Rs 1,929 (Increased by Rs 29.50)

Domestic Gas Rates and Other Updates

While commercial users face a hike, there is relief for household consumers. The prices for 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders remain unchanged this month. In Delhi, the domestic cylinder is still available at Rs 853. This stability is good news for the common man amidst other rising costs.

Apart from LPG, the price of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) has also increased today. In Delhi, jet fuel now costs Rs 96,638.14 per kiloliter. These price revisions are standard procedures undertaken by state-run oil companies like IOCL, BPCL, and HPCL on the first day of every month based on market conditions.
