2026 Skoda Slavia Facelift Spied Testing with Dynamic Turn Signals, Launch Likely by End of Year

Skoda Auto India is preparing to update its popular mid-size sedan, the Slavia, for the year 2026. Recent sightings of the test mules on Indian roads suggest that the vehicle will come equipped with premium features like dynamic turn signals. While the official reveal is expected by the end of 2026, some reports indicate a possible debut as early as May 2026. The car is currently undergoing rigorous testing to fine-tune its performance and features for the competitive sedan market.

Major Exterior and Interior Design Upgrades

The upcoming facelift focuses on modernizing both the exterior and interior of the Slavia. It is expected to feature a redesigned front grille, new LED headlamps with integrated lighting elements, and updated front and rear bumpers. The introduction of dynamic turn signals that sweep from inside to out adds a premium touch to the lighting signature. The vehicle will also ride on new 16-inch alloy wheel designs and may include a connected LED tail-lamp cluster at the rear. These changes are aimed at keeping the model fresh against rivals like the Hyundai Verna and Honda City.

Inside the cabin, the 2026 Slavia is likely to retain its sophisticated black and beige theme but with significant technological improvements. A new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system featuring an AI assistant and an updated user interface will take center stage. Drivers will benefit from a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, similar to the one expected in the upcoming Kushaq facelift. For comfort, Skoda is expected to provide 6-way powered and ventilated front seats along with segment-first massaging seats for rear passengers.

Enhanced Safety Features and Powertrain Updates

Safety continues to be a priority for Skoda, as the Slavia already holds a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating. The facelifted version is expected to enhance this further by introducing Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Other expected safety features include all-wheel disc brakes and front parking sensors, complementing the existing six airbags and electronic stability control. The 1-litre and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines will continue to power the sedan, providing a balance of efficiency and performance.
