This scheme is exclusively reserved for serving and retired employees of the Central Government, State Governments, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), and Public Sector Banks. Employees of local bodies, autonomous bodies, and government universities are also eligible to apply. Interested individuals must register on the DDA Awaas Portal with a non-refundable fee of ₹2,500. Since the allotment is based on a first-come, first-serve basis, no lottery system is involved in this process. Once the allotment letter is issued, the buyer has a 60-day window to deposit the remaining cost of the flat.
