This faceless system is designed to prevent officials from withholding documents and will save people from multiple rounds of government offices. The government is optimizing the National Generic Document Registration System for this specific purpose.

A pilot program for this paperless system is expected to launch within the next six months, with the goal of full implementation across the capital by the end of 2026. To handle the workload better, the number of sub-registrar offices in Delhi is being increased from 22 to 39.
