The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has introduced a significant benefit for government employees looking to own a home in the capital. Under the newly launched Karmayogi Awaas Yojana, serving and retired personnel from central and state sectors can purchase flats with a flat 25 percent discount. This initiative primarily focuses on the developing Narela sub-city, offering ready-to-move-in units across various configurations on a first-come, first-served basis.

Details of Available Flats and Discounted Pricing

The scheme offers a range of residential units in Narela, specifically in Pocket 9 and Sectors A1 to A4. A total of 1,168 flats are available in the initial phase, including 1BHK, 2BHK, and 3BHK options. The pricing has been structured to make housing affordable for the government sector workers, with the discount already applied to the final rates. Buyers will also need to pay a one-time maintenance charge and a non-refundable registration fee of 2,500 rupees.

Flat Category Price After 25% Discount Booking Amount
1 BHK Flats 34.03 lakh to 34.28 lakh 50,000

Eligibility Criteria and Application Process

This scheme is exclusively reserved for serving and retired employees of the Central Government, State Governments, PSUs, Public Sector Banks, local bodies, and autonomous institutions. There is no restriction on owning other property in Delhi, allowing eligible individuals to apply for multiple units if they wish. The application process is conducted entirely online through the official DDA Awaas Portal to ensure transparency and ease of access for all applicants.

  • Official Website: eservices.dda.org.in or dda.gov.in
  • Scheme Closure Date: March 31, 2026
  • Allotment Method: First-come, first-served (FCFS)
  • Location Advantage: Connectivity via the upcoming Rithala-Narela-Kundli Metro Corridor

The DDA has specified that the registration for this scheme began earlier in December 2025, while the formal application window opened on March 26, 2026.
