Details of the Arrest and Investigation

The Anti-Snatching and Burglary Cell of the Crime Branch received a secret tip-off on March 19, 2026. A team led by Inspector Robin Tyagi and supervised by ACP Sanjay Kumar Nagpal acted quickly to intercept the suspects. The arrested individuals have been identified as Om Chand, also known as Omu, and Pyare Singh. Police officials stated that strategic planning and constant vigilance were key to catching the culprits before they could transport the drugs further. A case has been registered under Sections 20 and 29 of the NDPS Act.
