Major Recovery and Modus Operandi of the Racket

The investigation revealed that the accused, identified as Hariom Mishra, was running the unit without any valid license or safety standards. The gang used a very specific method to deceive consumers. They filled low-quality, cheap paste into tubes branded as Sensodyne using specialized machines. These products were then packed to look exactly like original branded items before being supplied to various local markets.

Details of Items Seized During the Raid

The police team seized a massive quantity of counterfeit materials and machinery from the warehouse. The scale of the operation suggests that this was a well-organized network supplying fake goods across the city.

Item Name Quantity Seized
Filled Fake Toothpaste Tubes 1800 units
Empty Brand Tubes 10,000+ units
Packed Finished Tubes 1200+ units
Packaging Cartons 50 kg+
Raw Fake Paste 130 kg
Assorted Accessories Thousands of Caps, Glue, Heating Guns

Police Statement and Public Safety

Crime Branch DCP Pankaj Kumar stated that this gang was operating in a highly planned manner and posed a serious risk to public health. The hygiene conditions at the production site were extremely poor, which could lead to health complications for users. The police are currently tracing the distribution channels and suppliers to identify other people involved in this network. The authorities have confirmed that the drive against counterfeit products will continue to ensure consumer safety in the national capital.
