Details of the Incident in JJ Bandhu Camp

According to the police reports, the incident took place late Tuesday night near a temple in the JJ Bandhu Camp area. Karan, who worked as a clothes seller, had come to the camp to visit his sister’s house. His brother-in-law stated that Karan went out to buy some items when he encountered 3-4 boys. A verbal argument started regarding lighting a cigarette, which quickly turned violent. The accused group attacked Karan with a knife, stabbing him in the neck. He managed to run back to his sister’s home while bleeding heavily but succumbed to his injuries at Fortis Hospital.

Police Investigation and Counter Claims

The police received information about the stabbing around 11:40 PM. While the victim’s family demands justice, the sister of one accused named Akash has claimed that Karan was the aggressor and her brother acted in self-defense. She alleged that Karan had attacked first with a group. Police teams are currently conducting raids to arrest the suspects, and reports indicate that some minors might be involved. Forensic teams have also collected samples from the spot.
