The fire was reported to the Kotwali Fire Station shortly after it started. Chief Fire Officer Rahul Kumar stated that the blaze initially originated in a factory involved in producing plastic granules. Because the facility contained highly flammable materials, the fire intensified rapidly and spread to another nearby unit. A dedicated team of firefighters was dispatched to the location to contain the flames and prevent them from reaching other buildings.
