More than 150 residents across Supertech Eco Village-3, Himalaya Pride, and Royal Court societies in Greater Noida West fell ill after consuming food prepared with Kuttu flour on the occasion of Mahashivratri. The victims reported symptoms like severe vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, and shivering shortly after their meal. Many of the affected individuals, including children and the elderly, had to be rushed to nearby hospitals for emergency treatment.

Patients are currently receiving treatment at various medical facilities including Yatharth, Numed, and Kailash hospitals. Doctors noted that the symptoms were consistent with food poisoning caused by either stale stock or fungal infection in the flour due to improper storage. Police Investigation and Legal Action
Following the incident, District Magistrate Medha Rupam ordered a strict probe into the matter. Bisrakh police and the Food Safety and Drug Administration (FSDA) conducted raids at the retail outlet and the manufacturing unit. The investigation revealed that the flour was supplied by HD Spices and sold through local stores and quick delivery apps.
