Gurugram Thar Attack Case: Police Seize Vehicle Without Number Plate After 11th Grade Student Targeted

On February 27, 2026, a group of 10 to 12 youths in a white Mahindra Thar and other vehicles attempted to attack an 11th-grade student at New Colony Mode in Gurugram. The victim, a resident of Sector-9A, had gone to Railway Road for car accessories when he was chased by the group armed with hockey sticks and rods. Current Status of the Investigation

Following the complaint filed by the victim’s father, Love Gupta, at the City Police Station, the Gurugram Police took action on March 1, 2026. They have seized the white Mahindra Thar involved in the incident, which was found without a number plate and with illegal black film on its windows. Inspector Madanlal confirmed that the suspects have been identified through CCTV footage and viral social media videos.
