The police recovered her body on Saturday morning from a pond near the village crematorium, guided by a heartbreaking note she left behind in her diary. The teenager was a Class 11 student at Maitri School.

The breakthrough in the missing person case came when police searched Neha’s room on Friday, two days after she disappeared. Officers found a personal diary containing a specific note addressed to her parents. The note stated, “Mom and dad, please forgive me. I am going to my grandfather. Do not look for me. If you must, look near the cremation ground pond.” This critical information immediately shifted the focus of the search to the specific location mentioned by the student.
