IndiGo has announced the launch of direct flight services between Delhi and Colombo starting from March 29, 2026. The airline will operate six weekly flights on this route to cater to the growing demand for travel between India and Sri Lanka. Flight Schedule and Timings
The new service will provide convenient timing for travelers flying between Indira Gandhi International Airport and Bandaranaike International Airport. The airline will utilize its Airbus A320 aircraft for these operations to ensure a comfortable journey for passengers. Flights are scheduled to run on all days of the week except Fridays.
- Flight 6E 1169 (Delhi to Colombo): Departs at 6:40 PM and arrives at 10:20 PM.
- Flight 6E 1170 (Colombo to Delhi): Departs at 11:20 PM and arrives at 2:55 AM the next day.
- Operating Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

With this addition, Delhi becomes the fifth Indian city to have direct IndiGo flights to Colombo, joining Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
