The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) officially declared the final results for the Civil Services Examination 2025 on Friday, March 6, 2026. Jamia Millia Islamia’s Residential Coaching Academy (RCA) recorded a major achievement with 38 of its students clearing the exam. Out of these successful candidates, 15 are women, which marks a strong step towards gender inclusivity in the civil services.
Who are the top performers from Jamia RCA?
This year, four candidates from the academy secured ranks within the top 50 All India Ranks (AIR). A R Rajah Mohaideen achieved AIR 7, while Surabhi Yadav secured AIR 14. Other top performers include Ifra Shams Ansari at AIR 24 and Nabiya Parvez at AIR 29. Professor-in-Charge Samina Bano credited this success to the extreme hard work put in by the students and the consistent support from the university administration.

Admission process and fees for aspiring students
The Residential Coaching Academy provides free coaching strictly to candidates belonging to Minorities, SC, ST, and Women categories. The selection involves an entrance test covering General Studies and Essay writing, followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates. Hostel accommodation is compulsory to ensure a focused environment, with facilities like 24/7 library access. While there is no tuition fee, students are required to pay for hostel maintenance and application charges.
